This region is the epitome of perfection, the true Italian vibe. So if you’re thinking about planning your destination wedding in Italy, you must see and check out Tuscany before anything else.
City or countryside? Tuscany has it all, and I warn you: it won’t be an easy choice, as one place is prettier than the next.
The region’s most important cities are Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Lucca, and Pisa. It’s important to find your wedding venue in Tuscany close to one of these cities for a simple reason. Whether you and your guests fly into one of Italy’s main airports, such as Rome, Florence, or Milan, it will be easy to reach these cities by public transportation (train) or shuttle service.
The countryside surrounding these cities is breathtaking, famous for its rolling hills, cypress-lined roads, and vineyards. Simply perfect.

As I said, Tuscany’s rolling hills and cypress-lined roads are already a perfect backdrop for the ceremony (guaranteed jaw-dropping photos) and later for the portrait session. And if you can’t resist taking some pictures in the stunning cities as well, go for it. Although cities like Siena and Florence can be crowded, the photos will look elegant, stylish, and beautifully romantic.
