Wedding in Assisi
We are thrilled to finally share with you this beautiful wedding in Assisi – Umbria. Anastasia and Marco currently live in London, but Anastasia is madly in love with Italy. Since Marco is from Italy, this made planning the wedding much easier for the couple. They chose Tenuta San Masseo as the location for their wedding and it is nothing less than breathtaking. It is located just 2 minutes from the center of the famous Umbrian city of Assisi.
As you can see from the photos, this medieval city made the perfect backdrop for the outdoor wedding ceremony. This was the first time we had the opportunity to photograph a wedding in this beautiful location and we absolutely loved it.
Unfortunately, the day before the wedding the weather wasn’t the best. Since all the guests were already there, we decided to move the ceremony higher up to avoid the rain. It was the best decision. Even though it started pouring rain during dinner, this wedding was just perfect and relaxed, full of love and happiness. Sometimes, as you can see, rain can help create something magical. This photo wouldn’t have been made without it and it has become one of our favorites of the year.
